15 October 2025 (Chicago) – The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago held an echo training on Gender and Development (GAD) for its officers and staff on 14 October 2025 following the 2025 Regional Training on GAD for Foreign Service Posts (FSPs) in the Americas and Asia and the Pacific Regions held from 22-26 September 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
The Consulate General’s GAD Focal Point Officer (GFPO) Ms.Lizbeth D. Pangan served as the resource speaker. She discussed the highlights of the five-day training that aimed to enhance (GAD) Focal Point Officers’ understanding of GAD principles and their significance in organizational development. [END]
