3 May 2025, Springfield, Illinois - The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago conducted on 3 May 2025 (Saturday) a field pre-voting enrollment and voting assistance for the 2025 Philippine National Elections at the Saint Joseph Church, 1345 N Sixth Street, Springfield, IL 62702. The event was the Consulate General’s third field pre-voting enrollment and field voting assistance.

Special Board of Election Inspector (SBEI) Chairperson and Consul Ma. Theresa M. Alders and alternate SBEI member Atty. Eunika Lesli Leyva-Tiongco provided information to Filipinos on the 2025 National Elections, encouraged voting, and rendered assistance in the pre-voting enrollment of registered Filipino overseas voters.

During the activity, the team also provided passport, dual-citizenship and other consular services to consular clients residing in Springfield and other nearby cities. Those who availed of the consular and OV services during the event expressed their appreciation, since this meant they no longer had to go to Chicago.

The team also encouraged registered overseas voters, who do not possess the accepted Philippine IDs with which to enroll to vote online, to reach out to Chicago PCG at overseasvoting@chicagopcg.com for manual verification.
Pre-voting enrollment ends on 10 May 2025, 11:59pm Philippine Standard Time or 10:59pm Central Time, while the 30-day overseas voting period ends on 12 May 2025 at 7:00pm (Philippine Standard Time) or 6:00am (Central Time). Chicago PCG will be open to registered overseas voters from Mondays to Sundays, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, including weekends and holidays.
