CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita B. Diano, upon the invitation of Dr. Evelyn Natividad, outgoing President of the Philippine Engineers and Scientists Organization (PESO), graced the 52nd PESO Gala and Induction of Officers on 09 November 2025 at the Allegra Banquets in Schiller Park, Illinois. Consul General Diano was accompanied by Ms. Lizbeth Pangan and Mr. Richard Osea.

Consul General Diano in her remarks acknowledged the significant contribution of PESO serving as a platform for Filipino engineers and scientists in sharing knowledge, strengthening professional ties and promoting technological advancement. The Consul General calls on future collaboration with PESO for the future of Philippine development in the professional field of engineering and science.

During the event, Consul General Diano also administered the oath of office of the new set of PESO Officers. END
