CHICAGO 28 April 2025- The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago conducted a
field enrollment and online voting assistance for the 2025 PHL National Elections during the Spring Ball of the Philippine American Cultural Center of Michigan (PACCM) on 26 April 2025 held at Larsa Palace in Warren, Michigan. The event was attended by more than 250 leaders and members of Filipino and Filipino-American community organizations.
Consul Melvin Almonguera, third member of the Consulate’s Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI), and Mr. Martyn Asker Orcine, SBEI substitute member, set up a booth that provided information on the registration status of overseas Filipino voters. They also distributed flyers with the steps on pre-voting enrollment and online voting for the 2025 National Elections.
Aside from encouraging registered voters to cast their votes, Consul Almonguera, in his remarks, also informed the attendees that the Consulate General offers assistance to registered voters who do not possess system-required PHL IDs.
Pre-voting enrollment will end on 07 May 2025 while online voting will end on 12 May 2025 at 7:00pm (PHL Standard Time).
