03 December 2025 - The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago kicked off the 18-day campaign to eliminate violence against women in an awareness event on 28 November, where video clips from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) on VAW were shown.

24 November 2025 - To mark the 18-day campaign to eliminate Violence Against Women (VAW), Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita B. Diano led the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago with the All Women Cast Lupang Hinirang in a Flag Raising Ceremony.

CHICAGO, 24 November 2025 – In line with its commitment to strengthen and modernize consular service delivery, the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago signed a subscription agreement on the implementation of an electronic payment system with Cliqbux LLC on 24 November 2025 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Consulate. The digital payment platform will enable the Consulate to offer secure, convenient, and streamlined electronic payment options to the public.

Chicago, 17 November 2025 - Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano received a courtesy call from Global 1nspiration, Inc., a Wisconsin-based non-profit organization led by President Jeanette Jordee, at the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago on 12 November 2025.
