Continuing its efforts to bring essential government services closer to Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in the U.S. Midwest, the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago successfully conducted a consular outreach mission on 18 April 2026 at the Waunakee Public Library in Waunakee, Wisconsin.

The outreach marked the Consulate’s fourth mission for the year and was undertaken in partnership with Global 1nspiration, led by Ms. Janette Jordee and Ms. Floresa Balondo, whose officers and members provided valuable logistical support.

Led by Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano, the outreach team rendered a total of 75 consular services, primarily for passport applications and dual citizenship, benefiting members of the Filipino community in Wisconsin and nearby areas.

In addition to delivering frontline consular services, the Consulate also took the opportunity to promote its flagship programs for 2026, including the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour and the U.S. Business Mission to the Philippines.

For updates on consular outreach activities, Filipino and Filipino-American communities in the Midwest may visit the Consulate General’s official website (www.chicagopcg.com) and its Facebook page (@PHinCHICAGO). END
