CONSUL GENERAL WELCOMES NEWLY-ARRIVED INDONESIAN COUNTERPART

Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano hosted Ms. Trisari Dyah Paramita, the Republic of Indonesia’s Consul General in Chicago, at the Philippine Consulate on 07 November 2025. The visit served as an introductory call following Consul General Paramita’s arrival in Chicago in September 2025.

During the meeting, the two officials explored potential joint activities to commemorate ASEAN Day in August 2026 and exchanged updates on programs serving their respective communities.

Prior to her posting in Chicago, Consul General Paramita served as the Secretary to the Directorate General for Asia, Pacific and African Affairs at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. END
