25 September 2026, Chicago - The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, led by Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano, joined the Chicago Association of Realtors at its 143rd Annual Inaugural Gala at the Hilton Hotel in Chicago on 24 September 2026, which saw the installation of Ms. Vicky Silvano as the 2026-2027 president of the Association, among others.

Ms. Silvano is the first Filipino-American realtor to assume this position. The Chicago Association of Realtors represents over 16,000 members from all real estate specialties.

Consul General Diano was accompanied by Consul Ma. Theresa M. Alders.

Representatives of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association of Greater Chicago (UPAAGC) were also in attendance to support Ms. Silvano. [END]
