Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano participated in the 37th Anniversary celebration and the

induction of new officers of Filipino American Association of Carol Stream (FAACS) on 14 June

2026 at the Medinah Shriners.

Mayor Frank Saverino, Sr. of the Village of Carol Stream officiated the oath-taking of the new officers, with Consul General Diano serving as witness.

Mr. Norman Paredes, who served as President for the 2024–2025 term, formally passed the leadership baton to Ms. Josie Dugenia, who will serve as President for 2026–2027. The event highlighted the organization's continuing commitment to community service and leadership development. END
