Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano highlighted digital and investment opportunities in the PHL during a business meeting held on 02 May 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska. The gathering was hosted by Mr. Christopher Frankland, founder of InsurTech360, and brought together executives from FPT Corporation and Benekiva, as well as Filipino-American Nebraska State Senator Rita Sanders.

During the discussion, participants exchanged views on emerging models of cross-border collaboration in the insurance and financial services sectors linking the U.S. and Southeast Asia. The discussion underscored evolving global delivery models that integrate business process services and AI engineering to support digital transformation.

The Consul General highlighted the PHL’s strengths in business process management, emphasizing the sector’s role in supporting the U.S. insurance and financial services industry and its increasing integration of AI into operations. She also underscored the country’s ongoing government initiatives that support digital transformation and innovation.
