Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano graced the opening of the association office of the Zamboanga del Norte Association of Illinois (ZAMNAI) on 07 March 2026, located at 3525 W. Peterson Avenue, Suite 606, Chicago, Illinois.

In her keynote remarks, Consul General Diano commended ZAMNAI on the establishment of its association office in Chicago, and for its continued commitment to fostering unity, fellowship, and mutual support among Filipino Americans, particularly those with roots in Zamboanga del Norte.

Under the leadership of ZAMNAI President Mr. Joshua Amado Bicoy, the opening of the association office marks a significant milestone in strengthening the organization’s capacity to serve the Filipino community, especially the Zamboangueños in Chicago, Illinois.

The program commenced with a Eucharistic Mass solemnized by Rev. Fr. Nelson Garcia. ZAMNAI Chairperson Mr. Donaldo S. Pactol and Founding Father Mr. Berisimo Refugio also attended the event and delivered their messages. END
