The Philippine Consulate General participated in the Baguio, Ifugao, Benguet, Bontoc Apayao Kalinga (BIBBAK) Annual Christmas Party held on 06 December 2025 at the American Legion Post 80, Downers Grove, Illinois.
Representing the Philippine Consulate General were Consul Ella Karina Mitra, Cultural Officer Mary Joy Duran-Mortel, and Protocol Officer Martyn Asker Orcine. During the event, Consul Ella Karina Mitra delivered a short message on behalf of Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano, emphasizing the Consulate's dedication to fostering strong ties and providing support to Filipinos abroad.
The Consulate remains open and committed to collaborating with such organizations to promote culture and heritage, as well as the welfare of Filipinos in the US Midwest.
