The Philippine Consulate General participated in Paskuhan 3.0 hosted by Rizal Center on 06 December 2025 at Rizal Center, Irving Park. The event featured a variety of performances, traditional cuisine, games and raffle, and opportunities for community engagement. It was also an occasion to foster unity and cultural appreciation among the Center’s constituents.
Consul Ella Karina Mitra, along with Cultural Officer Mary Joy Duran-Mortel and Protocol Officer Martyn Asker Orcine, represented the Philippine Consulate General and delivered remarks on behalf of Consul General Melanie Rita Diano. In her speech, Consul Mitra expressed appreciation to the Rizal Center for its cultural initiatives aimed at ensuring that Filipino traditions and values continue to thrive across generations. She also looked forward to closer collaboration between the Consulate and the Rizal Center in the coming years.
Also in attendance at the event were Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth and State Representative Hoan Huynh, who shared their warm greetings and support for the Filipino community.
Paskuhan 3.0 is an annual Christmas party, third one since the reopening in 2022. It also served as a wonderful occasion for community members to connect, celebrate Filipino culture, and enjoy the holiday spirit.
