SCHEDULES OF NATIONAL MEDICAL ADMISSION TEST (NMAT)

The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago would like to inform the public that the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) for 2008 will take place in Los Angeles, California.  Students planning to pursue medical studies in the Philippines can take the qualifying examinations required by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) without going to the Philippines.  The Center for Educational Measurement, Inc. (CEM), which is based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, was commissioned by the CHED to administer the annual NMAT in the United States and the Philippines.

 The examinations will be conducted in Los Angeles on 08 November 2008.  Interested parties may wish to contact Mr. Godfrey Vergara, the NMAT coordinator for Los Angeles.  For details of the test, please call the following representatives:
